He also understands the physical and mental pain when injury hits and the challenge of finding caring and focused assessment and treatment for one’s injuries.
Dr. Marr has over 20 years of experience helping athletes and those living active lifestyles. He takes an integrative and individualized approach to the assessment and treatment options for each patient to outlines a customized recovery strategy to get them back to the activity or functional goals that they define. While his integrative approach always focuses on helping patients avoid surgery, he offers cutting-edge orthobiologic regenerative treatment options as well as guidance and recommendations should he feel that surgery is necessary for your problem.
The Story of Limber Sports Medicine
Dr. Marr has treated thousands of injured patients in the Portland Community and wanted to provide a new kind of practice. He became frustrated with the limited time to care for patients properly and patients lack of timely access to information and coordinated care. His approach has always been that an integrative approach to musculoskeletal problems will provide the best non-surgical outcomes for patients. As a patient of Dr. Ericson, casual discussions led to the realization of how a practice that offered non-surgical orthopedic care, chiropractic care, soft-tissue care and rehabilitation would provide an integrated model that would offer patients exactly what they need - a warm environment, a place where patients are not rushed in and out, and a place where treatment decisions are patient-focused and not controlled by insurance companies. Joining forces at Limber became an obvious evolution!
